By Canal

Talbot Wharf is on the Shropshire Union canal at Market Drayton. Our wharf is adjacent to Bridge 62. The towpath opposite has plenty of visitor moorings, water points, and a CRT sanitation point.

By Road

Talbot Wharf is just off the A53 Newcastle to Shrewsbury road at Market Drayton. Junction 14 of the M6 is about 20 minutes drive. We have plenty of customer parking on site.

By Bus

Talbot Wharf is on the Arriva 64 Stoke to Shrewsbury bus route (both towns have main-line rail stations). The bus stop is outside our gate. 

As of January 2026 there is also anew bus route (DG340) from Wellington to Whitchurch. The bus stops at the main bus station in Market Drayton, a 10 minute walk from our gate.
